Transformation, restoration, and expansion for an exhibit room, and rehabilitation of the courtyard and access to the Société libre d’Emulation.
As an extension of the rehabilitation operation on the Theatre of Liege, we were forced to reappoint an exhibit hall that had become obsolete. The constraints imposed by the theatre actually helped develop a new spatial structure that gives new life to the purpose of the site. Lighting, perspectives, and reception were given priority. The materials used blend with those used for the theatre. This has the effect of creating a coherent cultural ensemble, blending the forms of art in this concentrated neighbourhood in the city centre.
